AnonymousSo anonymous, you have one of THOSE friends. You know, the kind that can’t solve their problems on their own but has to tell the entire world about it? Yeah, see, nobody needs friends like that. Maybe if you just try to act like nothing happened her master plan will backfire on her, and then you can laugh as she goes down in her own boiling pot (haha, get it?) If she’s a really good friend of yours, and you don’t want to lose her, maybe you should consider chatting it up with her and trying to figure this out; however, if you’re done with her, then maybe you should just remove all contact with her from your life. I’ve found that to be the most subtle way of giving her a FUCK YOU without actually outright saying it. Hope that helps!
ps: everyone has the right to express their opinion, this is America after all where you can drive your car off a bridge with little children inside and they will just say HEY YOU WERE DRUNK, not necessarily caring about the fact that someone just drove young children off a bridge….but if people are dumb enough to hear one side of the story and believe that you’re the bad guy, then they are too moronic to even be living on this planet.

Dear Eugene,
Just recently, my relationship with my roommate has gotten better and much more bearable.. But one of the few friends [ also one of the closest friends that i've made here at school ] has been ignoring me/ditching me for a crowd of people who i REALLY do not get along with.. just think of a bunch of egotistic people who shove their beliefs in other peoples' faces and put others down for fun.. We only had each other as close friends in the beginning and then she slowly started drifting away.. And she has been using the excuse that "I have tech work to do" to ditch me and go hang out with her new "friends" ... But the thing is, I only started working this tuesday.. and she started ditching me 3-4 weeks ago, still using the tech excuse.
And when I try to bring up the subject [during the rare occasions that we see/talk to each other since she is NEVER at the dorm anymore] , she avoids the subject and starts rambling about the things that she did with her new "friends".. things that i frankly don't really care about/want to hear.. And ever since she started hanging out with them.. starting in the beginning, she's been more.. er.. well, for lack of a better word, very bitchy and condescending when we do get to talk to each other.. mostly insulting me and stuff especially when i indulge in my other hobbies like drawing or talking to people about art in general. It's not a bad thing for an engineer to enjoy things OTHER than math and science. In all honesty, I don't see math and science as things that I love OBSESSING over/as a hobby. Those subjects are more like things that I HAVE to do for class/HAVE to learn for my major.. Not as something that I would do for fun in my spare time.
I'm happy for her that she's making friends here at the school.. But it's lonely and a horrible feeling. It feels as though I was replaced. I'm not so sure whether this friendship is worth saving or what to do in this situation at all :|

AnonymousTell her to go to hell and find better friends. You’re in college, you’ve graduated from the petty drama. Nobody needs that shit at this stage in their life. She was your good friend, WAS, and is no longer. She’s found her friends and now it’s time for you to find yours. Start experimenting with meeting new people and hanging out with them, getting numbers, facebook friend requests, and all that nonsense that comes with college. If she insists on being such a bitch, then that’s a red flag right there, sweetheart, that she’s not even worth the fight. Friendships shouldn’t be THAT much work.
